I recently saw a thread on hear about a guy who made a door sticker for his truck and made a few extras to sell. I can't seem to find the thread and I have been looking untill my eyes went crossed..

He also needs a Glove box sticker. He has a 72 Cheyenne. Any help would be appriciated... Now I have to go unstick my eyes..lol WES

As far as the SPID go to http://www.outintheshop.com. Member Chipflyer makes them. Or are you talking about the woodgrain? Not clear on that 'cause I don't know what you mean by "door sticker"....

He's made a few for me Wes - they come in 2 pieces, the blue rectangle and a clear cover (kinda like a 72 SPID). The ones he sent me were an absolute perfect match (I needed one when I put Scott's green door on my 71, worked like a champ. Finally sold it!

You're needing to know about the striker and used the SPID blank to help ID the thread,right? Sorry,didn't see the thread but hope this helps joggle someone's memory. Hey are those eyeballs now?

Yes, door. Goes below the latch a little ways, shows vin and mfgr mo/yr. Will see if I have a pic tonight. Sold the truck recently, but pretty sure I have a pic.

If you look at the outline around the sticker that Tim posted, you can actually see the outline of the clear cover that goes over it also (painted over).

Wanted to say 69 but the earliest truck I can dig up at the moment is 10/69 thus a 70MY build. Late 69 Camaros, that extended production into November of 69, carried the label starting 08/69 IIRC.
