How to price a '72 350

I am thinking about trying to sell a an original '72 350, but I need help determining a fair price before I post the sale. I have a couple of pics. Does anyone have any suggestion as who could help me with this?

Get the casting # off the block and heads.
What kind of miles on the motor?
Is it complete? brackets,pullies,manifolds,carb
Was it smoking or knocking?

www.motortec.com for the casting # info.

Good Luck,
Matthew

can anyone hear it run? or is it no longer in the truck? did you pull the pan = 2 or 4 bolt main block? What type of truck did it come out of...3/4ton, 1/2 ton, 1ton??

in decent running complete condition they are worth anywhere from $150-$300 depending on where you are and milage

not being able to hear it run is a big factor in trying to sell a small block. At least I think it is anyway.
