rear bumper
okay so im needing a new rear bumper for my 67 gmc since the owners before it landed in my familys hands they did that to it. now im just wondering if they came factory with the dimond plate bumper or did they do that as well?

This was to allow the tailgate to fully fold straight down with hinges disconnected. It made for easier loading wight into bed. I don't know if that was from dealer or a custom after purchase modification. I too am working on replacing my rear bumper as we speak.
