I am using mine in the limp home mode and it works and feels good. I seldom get on a highway, so it may not work for everybody. they sell different types of add on controllers, one uses gps to detect your speed and another is a potentiometer type set up. I might try putting a switch on mine just to see how it feels if I just turn it off on the highway, since it fails to basic manual steering. My steering and suspension is totally stock except for radial tires.
