i want it to be white with some lime green tribals goin down the side. i dont know if this is to much to ask. heh

heres my engine, man, if you paint that white and put lime green flames you will have damnnear 100% done what I've been thikin fr ages... the late model bed, all white, lime green flames with a neon blue pinstripe on the outside of the flames..

Chevy2racer,

When I bought my truck, the engine was already done, and it has the 4 center mount valve covers (like yours, only painted). Do you know what years chevy used that valve cover design?

Are they a vortec head that used those covers?

dtlilly,they are 1987 and newer.Vortec's are center bolt,but all center bolts are not vortec's.

Lotik,

What year bed are you using? The lines seem to match pretty good. Did you have any alignment problems; i.e. lots of mods to get it to sit that way?

someone dug up me thread. i like those designs.

its a 89-98 stepside bed. and yes there are lots of mods to get it to lay out like that.

oh ann update. finishing up final body prep. decided against chopping the top. putting a forward tilt hood on it though. then put some paint and get the interior done.

I think you should go ahead and chop the top. You've done so much work on that truck, that I think a chop top would be the icing on the cake!
