Wiper Motor Install?
I Bought a New Wiper Motor For My 69 C10 and Ordered a Tar Seal As Well. Any Tips On The Install?

I have no idea if you’re supposed to seal that gasket on a stock wiper motor. I just installed a Newport engineering wiper motor and it requires you to use silicone on both sides of the gasket. I don’t see how doing that could cause any problems?
There is also a smaller rubber seal that goes on the top where the linkage bolts to. Do you have that or did you get a replacement for it?

I don't think you are supposed to use any sealer on the tar ones. They should adhere to the body metal and wiper motor as long as they are clean and dry. LockDoc
