Exhaust manifolds
Does anyone know if there are problems using manifolds from a 67-72 truck on a 73-86?

I'm running ram horns on my 79 C10. Driver's side dumps straight down and passenger side angles back. Pretty tight around the stock starter, but I haven't had any heat-soak issues (yet). Painted them with POR 15 manifold paint and it's held up pretty well.
One other thing to consider is you will probably have to have new down-pipes fabricated for you by a good muffler shop.

I got 2.5 inch ram horns from a corvette on my k20. A little tight but work great. I added band clamps to make exhaust removal easier. For service and such.

Also, put some anti-seize compound on the bolts when you install them.
Will make it MUCH easier someday in the future if they need to come off.
