Sold 1 of my Chevelles to start on my truck

I sold my 68 Malibu project to free up space and generate some cash to work on my 72 C10 .Hope to have rust repairs done soon .Time to order my parts ,who sells TRI-PLUS parts near the east side of the country. I need rockers and cab corners .I can get a pair of GM rockers for $100 each but that seems steep to me.

Don't know who sells Tri-plus on your side of the country, but NOS rockers for 100 each is probably about right.

Some would call you crazy to sell a Malibu to work on a truck, but I get it...

I've always wanted a 68 Malibu...it would be hard for me to part with it if i had one. Good luck with your 72. Joseph

Re: Sold 1 of my Chevelles to start on my truck

It was kind of hard to decide ,but I knew I was never going to get around to restoring it. It and my 68 parts car were taking up a lot of space in my shop with 3 others .The new owner is going to start the restoration imediately and Im going to spend the proceeds on my truck starting soon .The truck is my daily driver which is much more important to me. Besides Ive got a 72 Malibu convertible and a 72 Elcamino SS that we drive regularly .I hope to sell my 55 Bel Air soon to free up more space and extra cash as well. My shop is just too cluttered with too many toys. My old ugly truck needs lots of love so maybe now it can be what I want it to be.
