slant nose hood?
Hello all I have a 72 front end and really like the slant nose hood. I assume I can just put the 67-68 hood on but was wondering if there are any other changes say in the fenders/grille that I am missing? When I say changes I am talking body lines or sheet metal changes that would make the hood just not look right. I want to keep running the 72 grille and bumpers. And because my fenders are shaved, smooth, and straight I dont really want to change those either. Can I just bolt the slant hood and go or is there more involved? And does anyone have pics with a slant hood and a the 72 grille?

Re: slant nose hood?
I've looked into this as I have a 70 and like that hood as well. But it's not a bolt on conversion. The 67-68 hood is approx an inch longer. It can be done but there is some cutting involved to get that hood tucked behind your 72 grille. There are images online of people who have done this.

Re: slant nose hood?
In other words, no. You cant bolt a 67-68 hood on a later model front clip.
