Re: Where does your exhaust exit?

For some odd reason, mine has perfectly intact 2.5" exhaust pipes from the manifolds back to the mufflers, which arent leaking but dont look too healthy either. The odd part is, off the back of the mufflers it has tiny pipes that bend up over the rearend then turn 90 degrees and one exits out each side behind the wheels. I don't mind the side exit at all, beats backing them into snowbanks and trailers and so forth, but I cant understand why someone put like 1.75" tailpipes on it. Also, the tailpipes are all rotted through even though they are probably newer. So I guess my answer would be, some of my exhaust exits on each side behind the wheels, but a good portion of it exits under the truck through all the rot holes in the little tailpipes.
Sounds good though. What 454 doesn't?

Re: Where does your exhaust exit?

Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers dumped under bed before axle. Pipes are close to ground due to the truck being lowered. Wish I never dumped them because at low rpm everything rattles.

Wow, I love your paint job. That looks to be the same color as my truck. I love the white on yours though, it really breaks up the gold. Looks sharp. I might have to get some info from you on that!

Mine's like gchemist, but a whole lot uglier. They used to exit behind the wheels, but a snowbank forced me to shorten them up
