65 K-10 Heater Blower Fan, Anybody tried to...

...replace the copper power terminal tab?

The copper terminal from the (good) blower on the left broke off.

I have another (bad) motor and was considering trying to open them up and swap the copper terminal from the bad motor into the good one.

Assuming I would have to grind off the rivets to separate the motors from the plates to access the terminals but wasn't sure what the connection is like from the terminal to...the brushes I guess? And then pop rivet the motor and plate back together after the terminal swap.

And yes I do know I can buy a new one for around 40 bucks but I've been fixing stuff that most people toss for a long time...I like a challenge!
