Ok, no laughing here...! They are marked LH and RH. Is LH the drivers side and RH the passenger side ?
Thanks, Bret

I remember GM vents have one round port and the other oblong port.
I don't remember which goes on which side though. I'm sure someone will chime in with that info.

Heres a tip to make sure your hoses install fully so they do not blow off when turned on, on the outlets of your heater box for the defrost hose you will see 3 small tabs sticking up that the hose needs to slide over to prevent them from blowing off when turned on, if you try to just push it on the majority of time it will not slide over the retention tangs, so rotate the hose in a clockwise manner while pushing it on the outlets this allows the wire in hose to thread its way around onto the tabs, after installing the hose on the box extend the drivers side hose through hole in top of dash and thread defroster vent onto hose in the same method, on passengerside extend hose through dash then grasp hose and squeeze into a oval shape being sure not to catch any hose material on lip of vent insert vent inlet into hose then press firmly while rotating clockwise slowly and you'll thread the hose on.
Be cetain you get the wire in hose past all 3 tabs used to retain hose otherwise be prepared to reinstall on a regular basis as they will blow off. GMCPaul |
