Tail lights stay on after switching my steering column

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?? I switched out my steering column for an aftermarket chrome one, everything was going smooth till I plugged in the harness. The tail lights stay on with out having the headlight switch on the dash turned on. The brake lights come on like normal but the tail lights stay on even when the truck is off

Check your brake light switch. You may have bumped it. And also check the conversion harness.
