That's what I figured I just wanted to make sure on the model.

Re: Tires for my 72
What wheels? Tire size? How often do you drive it? Are you opposed to quick tire wear? Do you drive it in the rain?
I had a set of 26" Mickey Thompson ET street radials on my last quick street car. Only got 5-6k miles out of them and they were super sketchy in the rain. They absolutely kicked ass on the dry street though, a car that would spin through third dead hooked from a stop... I was happy but need to know your real expectations for a good answer. |

Re: Tires for my 72
American racing wheels. 275/60/15s on it now. Like to go alittle wider. I won't be driving it everyday. I have another truck I drive more often. Tire wear isn't a big deal but I'd like to get a decent amount out of a tire. No rain driving.

Re: Tires for my 72
You could stick with the 275/60 with the M/T street radial or a similar competitive tire like the Nitto/M&H/Hoosier or if you want the max rubber on the pavement they make a 325/50, on a 10" wheel that would get you a LOT of hook for the street in a 500 +/- hp truck as long as the suspension is set up correct.
