what gear ratio?

my 71' custom 10 came from the factory with a i6 & a powerglide. What gear ratios were avaliable for thes trucks?it now has a 350/350 setup. it tachs a shade under 3000rpm @ 60 mph with 27" tires.I think it comes out to be a 4.10 ratio , but not sure.

Re: what gear ratio?

You're probably right with the 4.10. The majority of the I6 setups came with that ratio. Got a spid sheet in the glovebox?

I would agree that it's probably a 4.10 out back.
I hate to split hairs, but it seems like most L6 trucks in the PNW have 3.73's not 4.10's, whereas 70rs/ss feels like most of them have 4.10's in the SW. Things that make ya go hmmmmmmmm.
