My shot at see ten style pics
Well im grounded and had nothing better to do so i went out and took some pictures of my truck. I finally took the date stamp off so maybe they will look a little better. I still can't figure out how he gets his pics to look so good. Well I tried.
And here is my favorite one Last edited by allen123; 03-01-2009 at 01:50 PM. |

Re: My shot at see ten style pics
I know SeeTen and can tell you a couple of his "secrets"He was free with the info so I guess I can be.You see maybe 1% of his pics if that.He also started out like you are doing by learning everything he can about use of his camera. He has also spent the $$ to accessorize with tripod and maybe some othe equipment.I'm pretty sure from working at it so long he doesn't have to take as many to get what he wants now but I think he still does several from each angle and so forth.I've wathed SeeTen shoot from ladders, laying on the ground, standing in a truck and every position he can and most angles. If you read some of the mags they will give tips on what shots they can use and what to do to get better pics.I'll bet See Ten reads those too.

Re: My shot at see ten style pics
Looking good bro! I think the 7th shot down from the top is the one that I like best out of the bunch. But what do I know? I'm just another guy with a camera! I used to have some links saved that had some great photography tips but I can't seem to find em.... This one is pretty good though http://my350z.com/forum/photography/...01-thread.html I do take lots of shots to come up with a few good ones. Many times I shoot the same angle/position twice to make sure that I got it. After a while you'll get to where you just know when the shutter clicks if you got what you really wanted or not. I do have a tripod but I mainly use it when I'm running a slow shutter speed. Take your camera with you everwhere! You never know when you're going to see something that you're going to want to share. Keep up the good work!
I piddled with it a smidge....Do you like it? Last edited by see ten; 03-01-2009 at 08:45 PM. |

Re: My shot at see ten style pics
Great pictures!!!
I like the rear tailgate shot best too, but I think I like the original better... It's amazing with you can do with filters and cropping and stuff. If there was a filter that blocked out rust my truck would appear invisible!!! lol...

Re: My shot at see ten style pics
And BTW Allen, great job on the pics, the views you are doing are very cool, artistic even...the one I messed with a bit was my favorite. I never would have thought of doing pics from those different angles.
