Picked up a pretty clean 72

I’ve been over on the 60-66 side for a few years built a couple of those Gen trucks and ls swapped them. Came across this pretty much all
Original 72 that I couldn’t pass on. She needs alittle metal work down low but rest of truck is straight. It had one repaint and was a one owner truck. Few pics

Thanks . Yes foresure. Ive started with some real rottten 60-66 cabs this one will be a breeze to to repair metal. I had to buck up to get truck but i think was worth it. Changed out some fuel lines added fresh fuel and fluids and we were cruising in it the first day. It had sat for 11-12 years

Take us a better picture fo your glove box decal, that we can read. Cover up the VIN, so you don't identify yourself!!!!

Re: Picked up a pretty clean 72

Yes with all the salt used up here usually they are rusted out bad . This truck had a sheltered life and was very well maintained. . It was handed down from father to son then he handed it down to his daughter who I bought it from. Her dad came to help load it up and see it go she had a hard time parting with it as she drove it through high school and grad etc. We will stay in touch with them as they are only 20 min away

Thanks! Yes so rare To find one like this and it’s going to stay original. She’s a keeper. I will deal with the lower rust this winter more than likely. Rockers , small kick panel and floor patches, two rear cab mount patches put new wood in box and keep driving it.

Save some orange for the rest of us! I love the orange trucks. Great find. Just remember you don't have a problem unless you admit to it

Yes thanks . Before I bought it I searched this orange/black combination and didn’t find anything online only orange white so I thought maybe when they did the repaint they did the black but the option spec tag says orange-red/black . Chevys Harley edition lol

They are very uncommon. my K20 was light olive over dark olive in the same scheme as yours. I like to be different so mine is going back in the original scheme.
