Another 71 with a factory 454

Here's another guy EBAY LINK that completely believes his truck originally had a 454 from the factory. Here is what he replied to me after politely telling him they didn't come from the factory with a 454 and his option label would show that.

thanks but the label in the glove compartment was removed for paint by the original owner,i was informed that this truck was ordered with the 454 option.the owner worked for the dealer where this truck was bought.sorry if you felt misinformed.

I really hate it when people misinform people. I replied back that I was sure more people would let him know he had been misinformed.

Jeff

Re: Another 71 with a factory 454

We stayed home and took it easy. I had 3 beers and 2 glasses of really bad wine. In bed by 11:30 but the local fireworks show just south of here woke me up. Man, somebody spent some bucks on some big fireworks and a lot of them! You would have to have a lot of antifreeze in you to sit outside and enjoy that.
I haven't seen the weather, is it supposed to be 50 or 5 tomorrow? You never around here lately.

I don't know what was worse about the 454 guy the misrepresentation or the fact that he started it out at 6500!

Re: Another 71 with a factory 454

We live in a world of mis-information. Of course, many times we just don't understand, or we mis-interpret what we hear or read. There are very few people selling anything who ever have made any mistakes in their attempt to convey a product to a buyer.

As always, caveat emptor.

Re: Another 71 with a factory 454

It's still listed. Had to search through the link and find the item number, then copy and pasted it on ebay's page. 110332150416 is the item number.

I don't know about the rest of you but ebay links get really screwed up for me on this site and don't normally work.

Re: Another 71 with a factory 454

I just noticed it also, kind of strange, wont work from the link but its still up there. He has changed the description, its not a 454 anymore, just a big block.
