Re: Still missing info. for rpo codes any help?

Here's a nice RPO search menu:

http://www.73-87.com/chevy_ids/rpomenu2.htm

Additionally, look through here to find codes specific to C/K/R/V trucks ('87 R/V shown, to avoid confusion with the '88 GMT400 models, but should be very similar to '88 R/V):

http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs...olet-Truck.pdf

Lastly, just so you'll know if you are on the right track:

JAN - Janesville WI assembly plant
XYT, YYT, ZYT are tire RPOs (X for front, Y for rear and Z for spare)
FLT - Fleet order

OIU and CAK I do not recognize.

Lastly, depending on how badly you want to know, you can send $50 and your VIN to the GM Heritage Center and they will send you the actual invoice (including RPO content and pricing) for your specific truck.

Ray, I do not know what condition your SPID is in, so forgive me for asking, but E6J is reaaally close to E63, which is Fleetside Pickup Box, any chance that is what it is?

I have an app for RPOs, I can run those through it later today for you.
