reuilding vent windows (87 r10)

I know LMC sells all of the parts and pieces but I've read there are some fitment issues with that stuff. Anybody here have positive experiences with a different vendor?

If you don't have experience rebuilding them I would talk to Precision Replacement Parts (Vendor Here - Precision Parts). They rebuilt mine to perfection. The cost was well worth it!!

You might save a few bucks DIY but it can be a pain. I wanna say it was like $180 per side... My windows are 73-80 so there may some differences that I'm not aware of.

I'll rebuild them, no problems there. I just want to get the best parts I can get so I don't have to worry about doing them again in a few years.

Cool... You might try precision anyway as their seals and such seem to fit well. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice man.... I really appreciate it. I'm new to older rides. Made the switch and I'm not looking back
