Got the motor done and running!!!!

I finally finished my motor. Built from scratch 327. 350 4-bolt main block #3970010, 307 cast crank, 283 #520 casting heads 64cc chambers with 1.94 intakes and 1.50 exhaust. Hooker comp headers, aluminum intake from a 68-69 chevy camaro stock for a holley, 600 cfm holley, comp cams XE-268-H cam, 9.5-9.75 to 1 compression. SUPPOSED to make about 340 horse and 393 Ft. Lbs of torque. Had some problems getting it in cause I had a 292 before so motor mounts had to be adjusted. But I had to put it in the 4wd position and it worked just fine!! Clutch linkage, headers and all. Purrs like a kitten. I'll get pics up soon.

still playing with timing and Carb. has 66 main jets and a 6.5 power valve. running 6 degrees inital timing and about 34 total timing. Some have suggested taking the vacuum advance off but any Ideas would be helpful. seems to run a bit rich yet.

Thanks a bunch

Nathan
