Question Head Gasket Question

when i removed the Head Bolts i found antifreeze inside the holes, is this normal, or do i have to take out the antifreeze from the holes.

spark plug question, does anyone know if the BASCH PLATINUM SPARK PLUG is any good, i have an 87 chevy sctosdale with a 305 motor. please let me know.

i dont know if you HAVE TO take the antifreeze out of the bolt holes but ive always used a rag to clean the stuff out of there i figure clean isbetter and it dotn take mucht o do it... as to the bosch platinums i stick with my regular AC Delco plugs and im happy

did you drain the antifreeze before you pulled the head? if not thats why you found antifreeze all over when you took the head off.. when you broke the seal of the water passage it released any pressure in the system and the water that was in the head drained out onto the engine.

Check your oil also coolent and oil doesnt mix.
