Body Mount Question

I have an '82 and I recently purchased all new body mounts from LMC. I can't seem to figure out how they mount. I know how the older ones mount, but I don't know if the bottom is suppose to fit around the top portion, because the new rubber does not want to go around it. Hopefully my pictures will explain what I'm asking.

Re: Body Mount Question

I've not done them, but just looking at them, I'd say your on the right track. Maybe a smidge of grease?

Maybe someone else can chime in, consider this a "bump"

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Re: Body Mount Question

you have them correct, the metal cup will go on the very bottom and then the nut.
