Talking Screamin' Altitude adjustment

Here she is pancaked.

I still havent put the drop spindles in. I need to go to a different tire wheel combo before I do. The fronts are very close to the fender.

Sorry about the pics being grainy, can't wait to get the "good" camera back.

Ok, just because you know someone is bound to ask, I'll get it out of the way - any details on: Rims, tires, components used, where you got the components, etc?

Bags and bumpstops baby!!!

The wheel and tire combo: 15x8, 275/60/R15
Firestone bags and SD plates
All air ride equipment is mounted under the truck.
two viair 280 compressors and two 5 gallon tanks.
all 1/2" valves (SD screwed up) and I went with 3/8 line to slow it down.
Has FBSS

And Shifty you'll love this, I have Honey well pressure sensors on each bag, run into a Analog to digital convertor (ADC) this is read by my laptop and then it can output via the parallel port to the relays on my valves. All this is opto-isolated and can be overidden by 4 manual 2 way ART switches.

Once I write all the code I can implement a "routine" and my laptop will control my air ride.

Eventually I will burn a '8051 microcontroller to do all this but so far its just a school project.

Wow, that's pretty freakin' sweet....!!

So, do you have any springs left on the truck at all, or did you mount bags in the place of them? Did you notch the frame or use a flip kit?

No springs left replaced all four coils with Firestone 2500 (front)and 2600 (rear)bags

Oh, and I did machine down the SD cups an inch in the front.

No notch yet, I'm gonna see if I need one first. Aired out I'm on the factory bump stops and I can still drive in an emergency situation. I'm going for precise control and comfort/utility not layin' frame.

Are you also using drop spindles, or is it all factory setup except the bagS?

No spindles yet, I wanna change out my tires before I go too low. They are almost contacting now when aired out. Once i go a little narrower (255/60) then I'll use the spindles and blocks.I want her a little higher than she sits now at ride height, and on the ground when aired out for shows and parades. I just don't want to hack her up to lay frame or beat her to death bouncin'
