WTB: GM Hand Throttle

I'm looking for a GM hand throttle assembly like in the pic. I'm not sure what years this was offered but it's from a 73-87(91) square body, K31 option I believe.

I'm specifically looking for this type, not a cable version.

Hi, i know this part is considered a holy grail. not too often they come up for sale. as for the years offered i thought it was a 2 or 3 year deal for the Pre-77 trucks.

If you’re trying to narrow down the years, I can say I have one on my 1975 K10. It was on there when I bought it a couple years ago. I wasn’t sure if it was a dealer add on at some point or an original option for this truck. Of course I don’t have the SPID for it either. Always seems to be the case. Vinnie

Re: WTB: GM Hand Throttle

I'm finding that they were used throughout most of the square body years, albeit pretty rare. They are tough to find, I'm still looking. I have found a couple from my posts scattered on forums, FB and IG but, as is typical nowadays, the "seller" either wants a bizarre amount of money (found a rusty one for $600! ) or people simply wont reply. It's ok, I don't need one, I just want one so I can be patient.

Re: WTB: GM Hand Throttle

This could be ordered as option code K31 or purchased as a add on accessory through the parts department. I stumbled on to mine from a well optioned 1975 GMC C20.
