February 2013 TOTM
For our first 2013 Truck of the Month (TOTM) contest the theme is:.
It’s Cold Outside, So Come On In Our theme is about the truck with the nicest interior, stock, custom or anywhere in-between. Let us check out the criteria or rules for those being nominated.
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need at least one picture of the interior and one full outside view of the nominee's vehicle, as well as the owner’s board name, and make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominees will run through January 24. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up by January 25 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of February 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of February 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: February 2013 TOTM
I will nominate my new "barn find". 78 4X4 small block 400 with 44K actual miles. no rips in the seat, no cracks in dash. this pic was taken at the man's house I bought it from. Its a time warp! Plus the orange was only one or two years. even has a working AM radio and working add-on cruise!

Re: February 2013 TOTM
Wow, hard choices, I've got to aim higher! I couldn't help but be reminded of Evil Trailblazer SS's truck - Excellent work in the "factory plus" theme. I don't have pics, but it deserves to be here.

Re: February 2013 TOTM
So BRUISER asked me via PM to post pics of my resto and get in on TOTM! thanks for the vote of confidence!
Here it goes...it started life as this And I've slowly but surely been working and molding it into what you see below! Mind you, the body work and paint isn't done yet, but EVERYTHIG ELSE is done... The truck is done with it's 4L80E (2005 core with shot peened hard parts and 5 pinion planets, full Sonnax treatment and Alto/Kolene soft parts) swap, headers and full 2.5" exhaust, Gen V cast valve covers, lots of suspension and steering parts, 2004 Corporate 14 with big pinion bearing, HD Ribbed housing and Eaton LS, and tons of other goodies I'm missing...it's such a long project I sometimes lose track of what I've already done! All lighting is LED throughout the truck, TONS of NOS interior parts, etc. etc. Posted via Mobile Device
