Finished up my interior today on the stepside. Got to get the box wood bolted down next. Starting to see the end!

do you have a headliner... or is the roof painted blue? i saw some silver trim but that's it.

Thanks guys,
This truck seems to be fighting me the whole way. Just be glad to be done with it. I usually enjoy putting them back together but not this one. The seats are out of an 87 Chevy nova 4 door and fit real well in the truck because the backs have a good curve to them. Yes there is a headliner in it. I had to do that twice of course. First time went well with contact cement----- then a couple days in 90 degree weather and I find it laying on the floor. This time I contact cemented it and glued it. Hopefully it will hold better. Never had the problem before-----------just the devil truck!!

I believe the steering wheel is out of a cavalier. Not what I usuallly like but it matched my interior color so well I had to use it!

if you were to grab a black wheel it may look better. IMO the black column then blue wheel makes it look out of place.
Don't get me wrong, it looks good, much better than my junk.

Where did you get the carpet, and what did it set you back?

Thought about the black wheel thing and may either paint column or switch wheel down the road. Its a nice soft wheel and for $15 I can live with it for now. Carpet is what started all the trouble. Picked it up on ebay over a year ago for a really good price. Turned out to be plush instead of 80/20 loop. Oh well! figuring I would use it eventually. Well then I found the blue seats and figured I would use them eventually. Sooooo when it came time to do the stepside since I had all the blue it made me decide to paint the stepside silver. (already have a blue truck) . Hated painting the silver ( DONE IT TWICE ON SAME TRUCK) and still not satisfied with the results. Makes it harder to finish the project when you don't like it is 1/2 way through. Thanks for compliments anyway. I do like the color contrast of blue and silver on the interior though.

I like that plush style carpet better. It looks great!.As far as the headliner goes, I use pure silicone (the type that made for a caulk gun). I use almost 2 tubes and do thick beads longways across the headliner. Never had a problem.
