Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
I've got a few different styles of lugnuts on my truck now, and on all four wheels the center caps would just fall off if I tried to put them on...
What lugnuts do I need?! something with a wider taper? Washer? some sort of GM lugnut?! my wheels look bare without the rings and centers... Also if anyone has pictures so I can get a little better idea of what I'm looking for.

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
If it's the center caps for our year trucks the caps are held on using three bolts around the perimeter of the cap, the lug nuts don't hold the cap on.

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
Yep, the correct center caps bolt onto the wheels with three bolts. If you have the later 88-98 style caps, they thread on to the external threads of the special lug nuts using plastic caps.
Maybe you can post a picture of what you have, and what you are trying to do so we can better help you?

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
The 90's era center caps have trouble hanging on to the lugnuts on our trucks..They have the larger metric lugnuts. I bent the flanges that hook on and it helps a lot..Is there a larger o.d. size nut that would fit on the older smaller studs??

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
and no one laugh, I know the tires are small :p I just needed something to get me by :p and that's the best picture I have of the wheel up close. The centercaps are actually in the truck, so I'll get a picture of those when I go to lunch.

Just went to the parking lot to snag a couple pics of the caps.

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
Those are truck rally wheel centers. They bolt to the wheels via the 3 small screw holes. The lug nuts will not hold them on. The lugs would be the type with the shiny caps on them. Rich84 is showing the 'new' style (88 up) that are held on by plastic lug caps that screw to the lug nuts.
If you don't have the holes in your wheels I suppose you could drill them.... The screws are a large head self tapper.

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
The one that I have in the picture is what I thought the O P was talking about..Those are fake lugs...The cap is friction fitted on the lugnuts..If not careful they pop off very easily.

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
I know what the rallies look like.. sorry for the confusion. I thought we were past this, but we'll recap.
I have 4: 4 slot steel wheels, 4: center caps, and 4: beauty rings... So I guess I'll just drill my wheels. and what length bolt would be appropriate?

Re: Lug nuts for Rally wheels?! HELP!
Calm down there hot rod..... Keith was not attaching you. He was posting a picture for the record so that in 2yrs when someone else stumbles onto your thread because they have a similar issue they will understand what they are looking at and the differences.
As far as the "bolt" it is a really a self tapping screw (I thought we already covered that! ). They don't need to be any longer than the thickness of the wheel and the thickness of the cap together. I can get you a picture of a screw off of mine this evening if nobody can get you the info quicker.
