Things that dont work....

Spent the day tearing Bessie apart to do the "simple" P/S box swap to a '72 integral unit...These are the things I learned:

The 72 C10 power steering box does not fit 67 C20 frames with the raised areas without shimming the box out.

The 67 C20 power assist draglink will not fit a 72 C10 P/S pitman arm.

The 67 C20 inner tie rod ends will not fit into a 72 C10 draglink, the taper is huge.

72 C10 inner tie rod ends will not fit the 67 C20 adjusting sleeves as the threaded area is LARGER than the 3/4 ton unit.

I hate grease!

So now I am at a loss....what can I use for an inner tie rod end that has the smaller C10 taper and the smaller threaded shaft?
