1971 C30 front rubber brake lines

Picked up a 1971 C30 the other day and it is said to be a one owner until this year and 33k original years but no documentation on either so who knows.

But problem is it has no brakes even if it did it would be time for a re-do anyway. I've searched rockauto, ac-delco, dorman's site, etc and have not been able to come up with any leads for the front left and right rubber brake lines and don't think they are the same as a C10 as it uses a different caliper.

So does anybody know where to source these or what have yall done when replacing them?

And here are some pics:

I think they are the same. Yours will have a square shoulder on caliper end but new ones don't (71 only). I'm pretty sure when I checked at parts store that 1/2 and 1 ton calipers were same. Glad you bought it. Kept me from getting something else that would sit around.

A shop that custom builds hydraulic hoses can make them for your application. Locally I went to Oil Filter Service Co. in Portland or with my old ones and they duplicated them.

I looked on NAPA's site and they don't list the front hoses (lines are metal tube). The calipers and hoses are the same on C/20 & C/30. Can a newer hose work? I use mid-late '70s C/20 front hoses on 71/72 K/20s when I lift them 4" because they are longer...and they work

Re: 1971 C30 front rubber brake lines

Uncle-
Ok that makes more sense, I saw the square shoulder and just assumed they were very different but I'm not sure if the calipers are the same because if I read it right they are held in with clips but I would imagine the inlet still is. And yea I didn't exactly need another either but the price was right and it will be a great reference for putting my 72 C10 back together.

Special k-
Good idea, I looked it up and calipers were the same till 78 and I'd rather have the hoses a little longer than come up short. So that sounds like the way to go.

Thanks to all for the help

Bought mine from GMCPauls.
They had a separate description for the c20.
