Rear bumper help

I bought a new bumper and new brackets from lmc. When I installed the bumper it don't look right. I've tried reversing the brackets, the only way I can make it look straight is to shim it. The top pic is no shim. Should the license plate holder be straight vertical or slanted. Thanks

I'm thinking shimmed looks better. But that Lou Ana and Cajun Injector oil change will make your truck smell funny when you're driving down the street.

Should be vertical. I would double check your LMC part #'s. Maybe by mistake they shipped you the fleetside parts instead of step-side?

Re: Rear bumper help

I got the brackets on the right way. All the brackets I've seen has holes in the top. And I'm assuming that is the correct way.
