Hydromatic Neutral Safety Switch?
I brought my truck home yesterday but had to put it on a trailer. I had it running so I though I could just drive it up and that would be that. Wrong!, the fuel pump finally quit. So I thought I could use starter fulid to keep it running enough to get it up the trailer.. After moving it a few feet and it dying in gear I put it in neutral and tried to start it again. Nothing, I cycled the shifter and still nothing. I wenched it up the trailer and when I got home I shorted the starter to get it to turn over and run while spraying starter fluid in the carb. What a circus, running all over. Any way it ther a safety switch or is just the starter / or switch. this happened when I first tried to get it to run, it but cured it's self before I had a chance to think about it.
