Just joined. Love 65-66 Chevy trucks, I have a pretty original 66 C20 Camper Special. I have attached some pictures and have created an album on this site if you would like to see. Look forward to learning more as I get this truck running and working. Intend to use as a daily driver and to haul my hot rod.

Thanks Frank

Re: New Member from Maryland

Hey Frank, Welcome to the site from Mt. Airy, MD. That's a mighty sweet survivor '66 you found yourself. Saddle is my favorite color on the mid-60s I think. I hang mostly in the 67-72 area because that's what I have, but I occasionally check into the earlier years because I love them as much or more...and have owned some in the past.

I hope to see you and your truck and/or hot rod at any one of the fine shows we have in our region. Next Saturday is the Mason-Dixon chapter of the ATHS annual show at Gladhill Tractor Mart (John Deere) in Frederick, just off US340. Your truck would sure look good sitting there.

Tell us about your rod. I've probably seen it if you go to the shows with it. Good to see another Maryland member here. I have a couple buddies in Deale that are into your year truck. Hopefully we will all meet in the future.

Re: New Member from Maryland

Tim,

Thanks for reaching out. I need to rebuild the master cylinder and Power booster, and some other minor things to get this truck moving again. It is definitely not a show piece, but will serve as a nice driver. Should have it road worthy later this summer. Look forward to meeting you at one show or another! Frank

Nice Custom Camper! Thumbs up!

PS: You should post this in the 60-66 area, too.
