Odd question dodge seat help
So I got some seats out of an 01 dodge to put in my 85 c10 regular cab. The seats are fully electric and I've been trying to figure how to get them to work. I've tried grounding the frame and and supplying power to all of the wires but nothing happens I can't even get the seatbelt to come out. I know this is a gm forum but any ideas??

Find a schematic. It's OK to browse a Dodge forum but you have to come back.

Really good Dodge forum.... I'd keep it mute that they are going into a Chevy,... they might boot ya!

Re: Odd question dodge seat help
I was just figuring the schematic would give you power or powers and grounds. There could be a step down in voltage according to a dodge buddy of mine but I have no clue. Keep us posted.

Re: Odd question dodge seat help
the schematic has no ground positions or voltage recommendations. but over on a dodge forum i heard they might need five volts to operate i just dont know how to restrict 12 volts down to 5

Re: Odd question dodge seat help
You can try to locate a voltage reducer from the junkyard in a 80's ford f series. Ford used 6 volt gauges up to 87 I think. It'll be a little black box on the back of the gauge cluster. Look like a black box of matches with wires come out of it.
