What is the factory paint color for rally wheels for a 1972 pickup?

argent silver is the exact color, but dull aluminum is close. any auto parts store should have it. just painted mine

There is no correct color for the rally wheels for a 1972 because these were not an option for 67-72 trucks. These Rally's came on newer models and they were all a light shade of gray. Someone else can chime in with more info as to the years these were for and what the actual color is. PS...ramey just gave the color info.

if you are going for a correct resto, there is no rally... but the argent silver is correct for the 73 - 87 rally wheel.

Thanks guys. I have the Eastwood catalog. Will order now. BTW Ramey that is a nice clean truck you got there. I like the rallys even if they were not stock in 1972. They must have come on the 80s trucks.

FYI.....Krylon "Dove Gray" spray can is exact shade to Argent Silver & at most Hardware stores. I bought mine at "Ace Hardware"..... $4 a can
Found this out from an old issue of Super Chevy mag. back in the early 90's
