6-cylinder fender emblems

Does anyone know a source to buy some fender emblems for the 6 cylinder?
I can find 8-350, 400 etc....but a set of 6-250's would really set off my build.

No factory ones for these trucks, but i know camaros and i think novas had 250 emblems. They don't look anything like the truck ones however.

Would still have fender badges. Your truck would have gmc 2500 or gmc 2500 V-6

Here is the original 292 fender emblem on my 72 Custom/20 Longhorn. Hoping to soon replace them with 454 v8 emblems!

Cool! Any idea what year GM started installing those badges? I don't recall ever seeing them before.

Chevy trucks never had emblems for the 250 base engine, the optional engines received emblems '69-'72. Looks like some nice machining work circa73

Re: 6-cylinder fender emblems

I found this emblem pretty sure it came off of a nova pd 5.00 bucks for it at a flea market
was gonna put them on my fleetline on the fender but only had 1 so I put it on the trunk lid of my 48...
They would look KOOL on a truck fender too.

RThree, When your 292 badges become surplus to your requirments, would you consider letting them go?

Re: 6-cylinder fender emblems

I found a machinist who took my sketch and made this. He can make these with whatever cylinder and CID you choose. Im going to have mine made in aluminum.

'68OrangeSunshine I would have no need for them and would put them up for sale or trade. I will be in need of a set of Longhorn badges.
