Help with steering column rebuild

Need some help with my column rebuild

- I have a pic of the lower bearing kit (1st pic on L)I bought and my lower column(3rd pic). I didnt see the metal sleeve that came in the kit when I removed mine

i think it is extra part maybe for diff auto mine didnt have it unless its a upgrade that goes between the washer and the bearing

it slides onto the shaft and is what the adjuster screws push against. You arent looking at the right part of the shaft.

Yup, it slides up inside the tube.
