Best place to buy seat belt, for '87 K20
My father-in-law has a *mint* '87 K20 Chevrolet that he's owned since almost new, and the shoulder belts are acting up...they won't pull out all the way most of the time. He's been reaching up under the plastic cover and pushing the plastic release to get the seatbelt out, but it's getting to be a pain.
Anyway, his truck is the medium blue in '87...there is another truck just like it in town, that is all beat up, that I was gonna nab the belts out of, but they do the same thing.

Are you looking for some like these? This is an extra set I want to sell. They are in good shape. Let me know if you want more pics.

Bingo...that looks *exactly* like them. Can I assume they extend/retract like they're supposed to?
IIRC, they attach with a stud on the retractor unit, and like a 5/8" or 3/4" nut on top?? And lastly, how much shipped to 65606???

They mount at the top and the bottom. I just tried the retract and it works bu hand but I never installed them in a vehicle since the floor on my 77 is different. I did notice the top is a little faded compared to the bottom. How about $40 shipped Postal? Shows about 2 days.

I have a full set of med blue ones from my 86. They pull out.. but they dont catch no matter how fast you pull them out. If someone wants to fix them, they can have 'em for $25 shipped.

Welp, apparently the actual buckle part of the belts was different in '87 than the ones I got...so, I need actual dark blue '87 seat belts, or ones that will work with the '87 buckles.

Best is used on here! You can still buy new ones from GM at around $100.00 each
