Question 63 gmc v6 ?

ok i want to upgrade my ignition and put a holley 500 cfm 2 bbl on my 305e v6 im not sure what it will take to do this.
btw i have checked out the 6066gmctrucks website it dosen't make it clear what it.
any info from anyone who has done this or anyone who knows some one who has done this would help.

One of the easiest ignition upgrades If found is the Crane Fireball series ignition boxes.Ether the Xr700 or 3000.They mount in your stock distributor housing and use an electric eye and a shutter that replaces your points.I use the 700 because its small in size and has a greta rpm range.I've reved to 8200 rpm easily. Summit racing carrys these for around 90 bucks . As for the carb a simple Mr Gasket adapter plate from early to late model 2 barrel carbs shpuld work. Hope I helped
