New guy from Texas

Hello, I'm new to this web site/forums. Finishing up my 1969 C/10 base model long bed,A/C, 396ci, 700r4, 12 bolt rear end/4:11 gear, narrowed, bed mini tubed.Hope to gain as well as give info on here as to help other on there quest for a fine C/10 ride. As of now in need of info on floor shifters that others have may have used & liked. Considering going with the Lokar floor shifter, so if anyone has used one I would like some feedback on the operations of it. Also looking for a radio delete plate.

Welcome from the Fort Worth area. As far as shifters go, you can't go wrong with a Lokar floor mounted, cable operated setup. Oh, we need pics. asap !

You say cable operated.....guy at Lokar telling me I need to go with linkage, cable only if shifter will be mounted in front of the bell housing.

Mine was mounted on the hump behind the bookbinding, worked great.

Exactly mine will also be mounted on the hump about the center of the pan on the tranny.
