Cool 67’ LS Swap and New harness ignition issues

After 20 years I finally get my hands on a toy..
I just purchased this 67’ C10 stepside short box.
Basically a frame off resto mod.
The only thing left old was the body (cleared over patina) and the original wire harness..
It already has a 2007 Silverado 5.3 swap in it.. It ran and drove...

It needed the harness upgraded due to many issues from simpley age to mission the intire tail light and headlight wires..

This is where I’m at..
I purchased a Keep It Clean Harness 10545-KICPRO15 15 Fuse 24 Circuit.

The LS swap was running and driving just fine.. He had a stand along setup for the LS Harness and fuel pump.

The new harness I purchased is a great harness with every wire being labeled. I’m at a loss on a few things..
I want to keep the original ignition switch in play.
1. The pink heavy wire labeled starter is now hooked to the heavy purple going to the starter. I’m guessing that wire connects to the SOL on the ignition switch.
2. Purple wire on the original LS harness “pin 59 crank voltage” from what I’ve read that wire needs to be hot at crank and hot during run. What wire on the ignition switch is that?
3. Right now I’ve got the heavy yellow wire from the new harness labeled ignition to the ignition slot in switch. The heavy red wire battery is hooked to the slot Batt on the switch. There is a heavy brown wire on the harness marked ignition switch input and I’m at a loss on what that is connected to on the switch.
4. The new swap alternator has a heavy red wire running back to the ignition switch battery port. The new harness has a heavy red that is to be wired direct to the battery. Where should I hook that alternator wire to now

Thanks for taking the time.. This is my first post and I just signed up today.. I did do a search but after 2 hours and 1million posts I gave up..😩

Mine has an American Autowire harness but I would think the wire colors should be the same. Did you not get a wiring diagram with the new harness?

1. Purple goes to Starter solenoid.
2. Should be pink on the ignition switch
3. Red 12 volt battery feed Pink 12 volt ignition feed Brown 12 volt accessory feed Purple 12 volt starter feed
4. The heavy red alternator wire should go to the battery.

That worked... I figured out the purplewire start a run hot for the switch.

Now it runs but won’t shut off..

Check your voltage on the ignition wire on the ignition switch it should only be hot during crank and run and should not be hot in the off position.
