Re: help with two tone

I have been wanting to try this color combination on my 68 but maybe run the black down the top line of the bed where it slopes back down to the tailgate. So it would be black on the raised portion of the hood, the cab and the top 10th or so of the rear end. (A little different than the pic but not much.)

Orange would look good, but I am a Denver Broncos fan. Silver or white might look good.

Re: help with two tone

I am using a color called 'Speedway White' with my 68. It's pretty cool. It's sort of a light cream white. 2001 Z06 Corvette color. My truck will be a similar blue, white grille, white 71-72 top.

Re: help with two tone

difficult to find a great second color because your blue is medium in the range of colors. Some pictures look fine, but they are combinations with very dark blue.
I think cream can be nice.

Re: help with two tone

A lighter shade of blue would also look good, imo.

*edit* Just to give you an idea.

Re: help with two tone

Ha! thinking the same thing ..

Something like this .. Or you could also drop it down to the next body line and run the two tone all the way down the side of the bed. I have seen them done both ways and it looks good.

Maybe do something in a lighter blue / darker blue stripe like this? .. or a darker smoke gray / bright silver stripe would be killer too.

Re: help with two tone

I'm assuming the truck is a '68.

Add the side molding, do the lighter shade of blue under that and on the grill. hmm
