Need your help with tachometer gauge

Hi chaps!
I just found that at Harwell Motors. Can you tell me which tachometer gauge this is? I am looking for a big column mount tachometer gauge for my 65 V8 truck which shows 0-4000rpm only. At the moment I have that Mooneyes gauge with 0-8000rpm but I've never reached even 4000rprm

Can you help? Andy

Andy I don`t think they make that tach anymore, closest thing would be a dixco or sun old tachs if you can find one they were 0-5,000 rpm, sunpro now makes a 0-8000 that looks a lot like that one. http://www.sunpro.com/product_category.php?id=377

Re: Need your help with tachometer gauge

I found a older sun truck tack, bought it for $85.00 not working, sent it to williams instruments in Hot Springs , Arkansas. They installed new internals so it did not have to have the old battery operated underhood sender. It cost about $200.00 to have those mods made, then installed it in the instrument cluster of my 66 gmc. You could column mount the same unit if you made sure it had the original chrome housing.

hope that helps. Kieth oh yes I do not know about 4000 rpm mine shows 5000 and you will see some diesal tachs that only register 3000 rpm....

Re: Need your help with tachometer gauge

You can always use the EB-8 Sunpro which was the factory option in the 60-66 trucks. Doesn't require the converter to use either.

yes I relized that as I sent it out. Used to work for a boat shop and I would on occasion see one of them they were on upper end priced boats.
