VIN Help
Looking at truck and would like to decode VIN to see what it is and how it came from factory. Anyone know where I can find a decoder. So far everyone I've tried is to new or says unable to find. VIN is C1546J1457750

C1546J1457750 is as follows C= 2wd, 15= 1/2ton longbed 127" wheelbase, 4=truck, 6=1966, J=Janesville, Wisconsin assembly plant and 1457750 is the serial number. You can look under the seat for a build sheet and the door plate on the kick panel might lend some info.

How about some more info, engine/trans, trim options, standard heater in cab or deluxe in bay, chrome grill bumpers or painted?

Thanks for the info. So far all I have is what you've seen. Going back to look it over tonight and the old boy who has it is not real sure of anything information wise. Once again thanks.
