5k Tach Cluster

Here are the details on this cluster:

Tach - Brand new reproduction

Fuel, Temp, Oil & Battery Gauges - These are nice OE gauges that have been bench-tested. They all function correctly.

Speedometer - This is a nice OE unit. Tested by spinning it with a servo motor at precisely 1001 RPM, and it read 60mph (60mph is perfect). Input shaft lubricated and odometer set back to zero.

Front Tin - OE - Factory-style formed opening added for the tach. Video

Back Tin - OE - Tach hole added using a CNC router based on a pattern made from a factory tach tin. Video

Lens -OE - Dummy tach markings removed, and die-cut decals applied for the 5k tach. The lens is nice, and it has very little in the way of swirl marks or scratches. Video

Bezel - Reproduction 69-72 style from Auto Metal Direct. NOTE: CAN BE SWAPPED OUT FOR A 67-68 STYLE IF YOU WANT

Printed Circuit - Brand new reproduction

Bulbs - Tested good

How about this one? I don't have any personal experience with it, but it looks good in the photos. I'd need to charge you an extra $35 to cover the difference in cost and their shipping charges.

https://classicparts.com/1969-72-ins...type-woodgrain

I might be able to save you the cost off shipping and deliver the gauge cluster to you in person in a couple of weeks on my way to the coast.

Re: 5k Tach Cluster

Looks good, a visit would be good or I could pick it up when I'm at the cabin. Either way works for me...thanks

Good Idea! Make that setup to cut & "shape" the centers on 1/2T caps.

How thick is the hubcap metal? The gauge cluster front tin is only .020" thick.
