Rear view mirror replacement

On the style that hangs from the roof of the truck, is it possible to only replace the mirror itsef, or does the entire assembly have to be changed? I found an entire assembly , but the colred portion that mounts to the cab is the wrong colr. Don't have the truck close or else I'd just go out and look.

Thanks,
Tynee

Tynee, the mirror asm comes in several parts. You can replace just the mirror head assembly, the hanging bracket or the rubber cover that matches the interior. Everything unscrews.

And an older caddy has a great mirror to swap on there. Much better IMO.

I had gotten this one a few years back...I THINK it was off of a 68-ish Eldorado.

Nope, I already sold it and shipped it out. i have another, but it is for my truck. I'm always looking for more, but they are not that common.
