I thought the "E "police were bad up here dam
i can't believe the crap cali people have to do
you have to pay $$ to not have have a car on the road?

It all really has to do with the environmentalists. They also LOVE it when gas prices go up because people are forced to drive less.

Well, I called my friend at the DMV today and now the fees are up to $494. If I can get a couple hundred more saved up before the 1st, then I 'MAY' just keep it. trying to sell of the Dodge and some other Ford parts. I really like this truck.

If I remember right??? I think I remember DMV offering to allow me to make payments on the non-op status. I believe it kept the penalties from going up, but if it wasn't payed off at 'said date', the penalties went thru the roof.

Also, I believe 'dmv' can waive penalties if you pay all "back registration"-which shouldn't be to bad as its the penalties that get you.
