Is this a normal suspension for a K1500/K10?

Here are some pics of the rear leaf springs in my K1500. I recently got a service manual for my truck and it has me wondering if I have custom or 30 series springs. Please let me know what you think.

Here are the service manual's picture of the 10 series, then the 30 series...

Re: Is this a normal suspension for a K1500/K10?

I have a 72 c10 that had overloads on it also, it is an interesting setup. 2wd, 1/2 ton, puck style cab lights, overloads and 3.08 gears. The guy I bought it from said it was a camper special, but I cant find any proof to back that up and the 3.08 gears dont make sense to me on that application either.

but to answer your question, I have seen them on these 1/2 ton trucks before and they appear to be stock.

Thanks 69GMCC10. Is anyone else familiar with this setup on 1/2 ton trucks?

No, not a Camper Special. What's a heavy half ton? Never heard of it...
