67-72 Step side bed

I looked at LMC exploded view of the step side bed but i want to be sure. There is a front sill and rear. How many cross braces on a short bed? I only have 2 on mine seems like there should be one more. No wood left at all to go by inside the bed. Getting ready to drag bed inside and get started on it. I want to make sure i have all the parts here.

Re: 67-72 Step side bed

Looking at that LMC view I ordered:
1 #13 rear cross sill
3 # 14 cross sills
1 # 15 reinforcement strip

This matched up with my original short stepside bed.

I believe the 4th #14 in the pic would be for a long bed.

AMD's website says the same thing.

This photo might help. My short step bed from the bottom of the photo: rear sill, cross sill, reinforcement strip, cross sill, cross sill, front bed panel.

Nice. I like the wood treatment. That 3rd one (closest to the rear) was missing on my stepside. Just one of the messed up stuff the PO did.

Thank you. Here’s finished bed inside. Mine was a bit easy as I ended up throwing almost all my bed away and buying new.
I see the AMX and 280 in your signature. Two of my wants but probably never have.

The Z is my favorite. Crazy fast (11.92 in the 1/5 mile) with the modified LT1 and modified suspension. The AMX is a throwback to my youth. I bought a '70 brand new. I played a little with the engine, so it was an awesome street racer back when it was reasonably safe, LOL. I paid almost 4 times more for this one and still had to fix a lot of stuff, LOL.
