Engine sat rebuilt on the stand so long I had to take the heads off to get soy beans out that the mice had sneeked in.

Everything you would want in a truck. Looks like you kept the original look.

Its 1972 Corvette red (Millie Miglia), Long bed, and I kept the original turbo 350 with the two piece drive shaft. Thanks

Re: Almost there!

Thanks guys, The "give up" factor is pretty high on these! But its nice when you can finally turn that key and drive it down the road. I bought that truck in 1992 in Tennessee. Drove it every day for 8 years. Hauled everything with it, moved with it, one main harness fire. It finally was rusty enough it was going to be junk or was going to be fixed. I took it apart in 2000 after having just restored a basket case 1970 LT-1 convertible (1 1/2 years, I was younger) and then we decided to move. I put it in the barn with boxes of parts and it sat until 2008. So nine years of parts chasing, body shop chasing, sending repop parts back its done. I wish I would have found this site years ago, it would have made it a lot easier. Thanks to all the people on here that make this such a good resource for these trucks!
